No Accuracy Guarantee

Camera location and status information is compiled from public government sources and may not be:

  • Complete or accurate
  • Up-to-date
  • Free from errors or omissions

Camera locations, operational status, and fine schedules may change without notice. Always check official sources for the most current information.

Not Legal or Financial Advice

SpeedCamAlert does not provide:

  • Legal advice or representation
  • Financial advice or guidance
  • Official government information

For legal questions about citations or fine disputes, consult a qualified attorney. For official programme information, go to the agency that operates the cameras where you were driving: LADOT, SFMTA, OakDOT, Long Beach Public Works, SJDOT or Glendale Public Works.

Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, SPEEDCAMALERT IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND. WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR:

  • Inaccurate or incomplete camera location data

You agree NOT to use SpeedCamAlert to:

  • Violate traffic laws or speed limits
  • Endanger yourself or others while driving
  • Engage in illegal activity
  • Disrupt or damage the service

Always Obey Speed Limits

Regardless of camera locations, you must obey all posted speed limits. Speed safety systems are designed to reduce dangerous speeding and protect pedestrians, cyclists, and all road users.

Eligibility

This service is intended for people aged 13 and over. It is a general-audience informational resource and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.

Intellectual Property

Camera locations, enforcement zone boundaries, and program details are public records published by government agencies, and no ownership is claimed over that underlying data. The design, written content, code, and presentation of this site are owned by SpeedCamAlert.

You may link to this site freely. You may not scrape it at volume, republish it wholesale, or present it as your own. If you want the underlying data, get it from the source: it is public, and every agency that publishes it is linked on our sources page.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless SpeedCamAlert and its operators from any claim, demand, loss, or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your use of this service, your violation of these terms, or your violation of any law or third-party right.

Severability

If any provision of these terms is found unenforceable, that provision will be limited or removed to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will stay in full force. Our failure to enforce any provision is not a waiver of our right to do so later.

Governing Law and Disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute shall be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Los Angeles County, California, and you consent to the jurisdiction of those courts.

Before filing anything, please contact us. Nearly every issue with a free informational site can be resolved by email, and we would rather fix a problem than argue about it.

Changes to Terms

We may update these terms at any time. Continued use of the service constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
